Prasar Bharati CEO K S Sarma who visited the Srinagar radio station
to review the situation said that the life insurance matter would
be taken up at the board meeting of Prasar Bharati on 8 May.
During his visit Sarma appreciated the efforts made by Kashmir's
AIR station director Rafeeq Masoodi and his staff in ensuring that
there were no disruptions despite a fierce gun battle being fought
outside the premises on the day of the attack.
The abortive suicide attack that triggered a gun battle, left three
ultras and two security personnel dead and seven security men injured.
None of the Doordarshan and AIR staff was hurt in the incident.
