MUMBAI: In an effort to innovate Comedy Circus, Sony Entertainment Television has introduced Johny Lever in the panel of Judges. The show already has Archana Puran Singh and Satish Shah as judges.

The show had initially roped in Umar Sharif, popular stand up Comedian from Pakistan, to be on the panel of judges along with Archana Puran Singh.

As a part of continuous changes that the channel had promised to deliver, this week Comedy Circus is geared to offer its viewers a hilarious show by presenting a thematic episode.

The theme is that each jodis will sport different avatars and will have to play the character they are dressed in.

Each pair will clad up in different characters and will have to perform like them.

The jodis will be required to make the following pairs of a Fairy and Superman, Soni and Mahiwal, Akbar and Salim, Rakhi Sawant and Raavan, Student and Teacher and last a Japanese tourist and a local Guide.

The show that started on 16 June has so far seen elimination of Varun Badola which happened in the last week and has plans to introduce surprises throughout the show.

Speaking on the show SET marketing head Aseem Kapoor said, "With every new step we are rising high and we have plans for wild card entry as well."
